Michael Terpin
CNBC’s “Godfather of Crypto”
The Original Architect of Crypto’s Narrative, Capital & Community
Michael Terpin is a serial entrepreneur, advisor and investor at the intersection of crypto and AI. CNBC famously called him the “Godfather of Crypto” for his pioneering work helping launch and advise foundational projects including Ethereum and Tether, and for providing advisory and PR services to more than 400 tokens over the past decade.
As founder and CEO of Transform Ventures and Transform Group, he has been one of the earliest and most consistent forces shaping how blockchain projects communicate, raise capital and reach mainstream investors. He co-founded BitAngels (the first crypto angel network) and early venture vehicles, organized the long-running CoinAgenda / Tokenize conference series, and authored the book Bitcoin Supercycle, which articulates his multi-cycle framework for Bitcoin. In 2016 he became the first major crypto investor to relocate to Puerto Rico under its tax incentives, catalyzing a broader migration of the industry to the island. At UN Blockchain Week he brings decades of front-line experience connecting technology, capital, regulation and narrative in the digital asset economy.
