UN Blockchain Week KOL Affiliate Program – Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: July 2026
By applying to and participating in the UN Blockchain Week KOL Affiliate Program (“Program”), you (“Affiliate”, “KOL”, or “you”) agree to the following terms and conditions. UN Blockchain Week (“we”, “us”, or “Organizer”) reserves the right to modify these terms at any time.
1. Program OverviewThe Program allows approved Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to earn commissions by promoting UN Blockchain Week (September 10–19, 2026, during UNGA 81). Affiliates receive unique tracking links and/or promo codes to share with their audience.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must have an active social media presence or audience relevant to blockchain, crypto, Web3, or technology.
- We reserve the right to approve or reject any application at our sole discretion.
- Self-referrals and fraudulent activity are strictly prohibited.
3. Commission Structure
- Approved KOLs earn a 20% commission on qualifying sales generated through their unique links or promo codes.
- Commissions are calculated on the net amount received by UN Blockchain Week after any discounts, refunds, or chargebacks.
- A special higher commission rate may be offered to the designated Secretary of Communications / Master KOL. This is managed separately and is not available to standard KOLs.
- We reserve the right to adjust commission rates with prior notice.
4. Promo Codes & Discounts
- Affiliates may share a 10% discount with their community using their unique promo code.
- Promo codes must only be used for legitimate promotional purposes.
- Abuse of promo codes (including sharing in spam or misleading contexts) may result in removal from the Program and forfeiture of commissions.
5. Tracking & Attribution
- Sales are tracked using unique affiliate links and promo codes provided by GlobalBoost.
- We use a 60-day cookie duration.
- Only sales tracked through your unique link or code will be attributed to you.
- We are not responsible for sales that cannot be tracked due to technical issues, ad blockers, or user behavior.
6. Payouts
- Payouts are processed on a Net-15 basis (commissions earned in one month are paid approximately 15 days after the end of that month).
- The minimum payout threshold is $0 (or as otherwise communicated).
- Payouts are made via PayPal, Wise, or bank transfer (subject to availability).
- You are responsible for any taxes on commissions earned.
7. Prohibited Activities
You may not:
- Use spam, unsolicited emails, or deceptive marketing tactics.
- Make false or misleading claims about UN Blockchain Week or cryptocurrency investments.
- Bid on branded keywords (e.g., “UN Blockchain Week”) in paid advertising without prior written approval.
- Promote the Program on websites or platforms that contain illegal, adult, or offensive content.
- Engage in any activity that damages the reputation of UN Blockchain Week.
8. Content & Branding
- You may use official logos and marketing materials provided in the affiliate portal.
- All promotional content must be accurate and compliant with applicable laws and advertising regulations.
- You must clearly disclose your affiliate relationship when promoting the event.
9. Termination
We may terminate your participation in the Program at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination:
- You will no longer be eligible for future commissions.
- Any unpaid commissions may be forfeited if termination is due to a violation of these terms.
10. Limitation of Liability
UN Blockchain Week is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation in the Program. Our total liability shall not exceed the total commissions paid to you in the 12 months prior to any claim.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Delaware. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Delaware.
12. Modifications
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
