He focuses on Stablecoin Regulation & Emerging Markets, forging partnerships with financial institutions, corporates, governments, regulators, and policymakers to accelerate the next generation of compliant stablecoin systems.
With over a decade bridging traditional finance and crypto, Gbenga previously served as Head of Strategic Partnerships at BitGo and led Enterprise & Strategic Business Development for North America at Fireblocks. His career began at Deutsche Bank, progressing through OTC Derivatives Clearing, Prime Brokerage, and Wealth Management / Family Office roles advising asset managers, hedge funds, institutions, and UHNW clients. He holds an MBA from Yale University and is a frequent voice at events such as the Nigeria Stablecoin Summit, Token2049, and Consensus, advocating for regulatory-aligned infrastructure that unlocks stablecoin utility in emerging markets and institutional finance.
